Health Effects Drinking water standards are established to protect
consumers from both adverse health effects (Primary drinking water standards)
and from qualities that make the water unpotable (Secondary drinking water standards).
Both New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and US EPA set drinking water standards.

Required Test Parameters with Home Sales New Jersey State passed an extensive water
test called the Private Well Testing Act (PWTA). The parameters required
are as
follows.
As a courtesy, Hera Tech, Inc. tests the five
most commonly treated parameters for real estate transactions.

Recommendation for Additional Testing: Additional Water Testing may be conducted to determine the effectiveness of a water treatment system or to determine if the distribution system (Pipes) may be contributing additional contamination.
